
Mike McClain has more than 30 years experience in executive, marketing and sales management with Fortune 100 companies in the New York area including Colgate Palmolive, Nabisco Brands, Wakefern Foods (Shop Rite Supermarkets) and two major international advertising agencies. He has managed a number of well known national consumer products including Colgate Toothpaste and Planters Nuts and Snacks. He also has significant experience in strategic planning, acquisitions, new products, and retail market development.
Before founding CardSmart, he owned an innovative manufacturer of custom printed ID products with operations in the eastern U.S. These products are used by many major U.S. corporations in various information management, marketing and advertising applications. McClain sold his interests in that company to focus exclusively on creating an enterprise dedicated to the development and commercialization of advanced identity management based applications.
McClain is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and served in the U.S. military. He holds a DOD Secret security clearance.
